The following interactive exhibits and learning tools could be appropriate in the settings of museums, airports or other public spaces. They could allow, for example, someone strolling down the street to unexpectedly see at a glance where the rest of the world is.
This basic idea of orientation with respect to other locations on Earth could take on a range of forms, from something as simple as a plywood sign on a 2×4, to a setup involving real-time computer modeling & optical assemblies.
